I give talks, illustrated by 35mm slides, with the titles listed below. They are suitable for audiences ranging from railway enthusiasts, model engineers, local historians, ladies (WI/TG) to pensioners &c. Commentaries are adapted to the target audience and those who don’t want ‘nuts and bolts’ details on the intricacies of steam locomotives won’t be bamboozled with technicalities. Talks usually last about an hour but can be tailored to suit your programme.
I supply my own projector and stand, 70in screen and extension lead.
My fees are: Leicester (inc Wigston, Oadby, Braunstone, Birstall, Anstey, Glenfield) - £30; Leicestershire - £35; Midlands (Birmingham, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Peterborough, Staffordshire, Warwickshire) - £50. Elsewhere by negotiation.
